How to create or add a new company

If you have a multi company licence you can access more than one company and can create or add additional companies to your Sage 50cloud Accounts.

Typically this is useful to easily access multiple different company datasets, or if you want to easily view an old backup of your company data without restoring over your current company dataset.

Additional companies can be created four different ways:

  • Create a new company from scratch
  • Add an existing company that is on another computer or server that you are connected to over a local network
  • Add an existing company by restoring a backup of the company data
  • Connect to an existing company using Remote Data Access
