Upload bank movements from CSV bank files in Sage 200 Standard

Good Morning,

We use Sage 200 Standard.

We find it very frustrating that we cannot upload the bank movements using csv files created by the banks. We were advised to use the alternative bank feeds option, however not all banks can be linked through bank feeds, such as LSB, and for other banks such as NW only GBP accounts can be linked. Therefore, bank feeds is not really an alternative.

In addition, NW require additional payment and 5k installation fee to enable us to link Sage200 to their bank accounts, something that we would like to avoid if possible. And again for all NW non GBP accounts, the bank feeds would not work anyway.

Please can you develop this function in Sage 200 as soon as possible?

As this option is already available in other Sage products such as Sage Accounting, I hope this will be very easy copy-paste exercise for the Sage development team.

Thank you very much in advance,

Diana

  • We’re currently working on a potential new feature that will allow the ability to download and import bank transactions for the purposes of bank reconciliation. The data, once imported, would appear within the bank feeds service, allowing you to use a set of custom rules. This would be for a number of reasons:

    • Bank feeds does not currently have a connection to your bank or your bank account type

    • Bank feeds isn’t syncing to suit your business requirements i.e. more frequent transaction updates required

We’re looking for customers who would be able to work with us in reviewing this and providing feedback & insight. We don’t anticipate that it will take more than 30 mins of your time and you would need to be available this month (April 2024).
