Function to Import Sales Orders

Would be good if you could import sales orders and then generate into invoices.

We use a CRM and generate invoices into Sage manually as they have a product code and I know you can import customer transactions but there isn't a field for the product code so will not adjust the stock accordingly.

You can but you need a Third Party addon.

Codis Excelerator allows a direct connection to an Excel Worksheet that creates an Order directly in SOP. Additionally, Eureka & Draycir have Data Exchange Modules that provide similar functionality.

The Customer Transaction Import you refer to, is directly to the Sales Ledger and has no interaction with SOP. It would be used to post the completed transaction raised in your CRM to the SL to get an Audit Trail transaction onto the Account.
