Homepage and Workspace Errors (401 Unauthorized or not available)

SOLVED

Afternoon Everyone,

Having issues with Workspaces - new install 2022 R1 (but upgrading existing dataset)

Scenarios:

1) Logged in as Domain Administrator - All WorkSpaces (standard and summary pages) and Home page all work fine Thumbsup

2) Logged in as Standard Sage user - None of the Workspace's and Home page are working (see screen shot 401 - Unauthorized invalid credentials) Thumbsdown

Features are assigned to User as its the same role as Domain Administrator

I've uninstalled and re-installed Sage a few times,(last was a clean reinstalled removing all folders) also rebooting server every-time.

I've removed and reinstalled the Core Account Components

None of above make any difference

But here is the real mind-boggler -> if I launch the "Show Workspaces in Web Browser" option as the standard user - they all appear and work fine Confused

Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks in advance

Paul

    It either Explorer enhanced security.

Or you need to add the server to the trusted sites list.  And set the option to autologon using current credentials.

Both of the last two are in the Internet options in control panel.

Then first is a server only setting if you are testing via a server

    Thanks Toby,

Think you have hit on something
I have the credentials setting set alright to use current logon for trusted sites
Logged on as Admin the trusted site is there, but as a standard user it does not to appear to be saving the Sage Server as trusted site in IE.
I'll get onto their IT - they must have it locked down.

    Thanks again Toby
