Sage 200 Logon Error

SOLVED

Afternoon everyone,

I have a server we use for Testing Sage 200 (running 200c V12 (Spring 2019)

When I Log in I get the attached/below message

This message only appears on the server itself,
I have a Sage 200c client connected to the same server/same datasets and it logs on no problem,

We're not using Manufacturing.

Anyone come across this before, I've uninstalled and reinstalled sage 200 on the server and its made no difference.

Thanks,
Paul

Doesn't matter if you're actually using Manufacturing or not, the Manufacturing module subscribes to a number of Message Sources at startup, and one of them is Sage.Accounting.Stock.StockLedgerMessageSource.ProductGroupChanged. That didn't exist prior to the Spring 2019 release - so if at runtime Sage200Desktop.exe is resolving a version of Sage.Accounting.Commercials.dll that's older than 20.0.31.0 (file version 20.0.19095.1) then you'll get this problem.

Search for instances of Sage.Accounting.Commercials.dll on the server machine. If you find any outside of the Sage 200 client folder then get rid of them if possible. Also check the version that's *in* the client folder - make sure it's the same version/file version as Sage.Manufacturing.BusinessObjects.Sage200.dll.

Spot on Chris thanks for that, as it is a test server, it was downgraded to Spring 2018 at some point then when spring 2019 was reinstalled a few of the commercial dlls didn't update. All sorted now.

    Thanks again,
