Criteria On Sage report Designer

Is there a way to specify the default criteria to show current open period or todays date.

For example I want to amend the Current transaction listing and have the transaction period to be the current open.

    It depends, the Nominal Transaction Listing report, you can set it to the Current year, it will put the dates in and you can save the criteria, but when "next" year comes, you would have to re-save it.  Also if you use the Today option and save it, it will save "Today" as 16/1/20, loading the criteria tomorrow will still show as 16/1/20

    These type of criteria cannot be added to a report - they are special criteria embedded within the report design.

    However, if you find a STANDARD Sage report with such criteria you should save the report under a new name and then amend the report.

    WARNING - Do not attempt to change the criteria settings - the criteria will become corrupt and cannot be repaired.
