Upgrading Sage 200 - Windows 2008

We have recently been contacted by our Sage Support, telling us our Sage 200 system needs upgrading.

We are currently running on Windows 2008, and the support have told us Windows have announced they are turning off the server(?) that our Sage connects to - which has led to the upgrade.

If we do not upgrade before September when the Microsoft server is turned off, we will no longer have access to Sage or any of our information.

Is this correct?

    Hi Jodie,

    Apologies for the late reply on this one. I'm not sure which variant of Sage 200 you are using but it's likely related to the TLS changes detailed here.

    Microsoft are no longer supporting TLS 1.0 and 1.1 which older versions of Sage 200 used. I'd imagine by this point you have been upgraded to a working version of Sage 200, however, if you do still have queries or require support, feel free to reply to this message.
