Hi, Sage 200 is supported in Azure when run through Sage 200 Partner Cloud. This option configures servers in an Azure Tenant as per the config requested in the Sage Partner Provisioning Portal. With the Partner Cloud version of 200 you can Azure SQL Elastic Pools to hold the SQL DB's for 200. In this way AVD is supported.

That said Sage 200 Pro can technically be installed manually into Azure by installing onto a VM as you would onto a local server but it would require a SQL instance to be installed rather than use Azure SQL instances. This process would be the same as a new local install then you can restore a backup of the SQL DB to the new instance, configure up the company in Sage 200 Administration and it should work as a test bed. However, its worth checking that it will be supported by Sage in this configuration as I think at present it wont be and so if not it should only be used for testing.

Hello our colleague above is quite right to point out Sage Partner Cloud , the main point to remember regarding Azure is that SPC is the only Azure type UAT we carry out. What this means is that we may be limited in the support we can offer when it comes to Azure provided in any other means or configuration as we are not experts in Azure configuration outside SPC.

In the longer term regarding supporting you and your customer we would ask you consider the below documentation before implementation.

Hi, we have since migrated Sage200 to AVD using SQL in a VM. One issue that keeps randomly appearing is a user.config error when using FSLogix profiles. Is FSLogix supported also?

Did you hear back if FSLogix is supported and if not, is it on the roadmap for the future?
