Trying to issue an invite for new user

I have invited users for our accountant to have access before and never had an issue.  I am trying to add another and I keep getting a message that says the email is invalid, but it is a good address.  So they gave me another email to try, this one appeared fine on my end, but my accountant said they never received the invite email.  Has anyone else experienced this?

    Try an Alternative Email Address

     CAUTION: If the email address that you entered is your own domain, the email might be blocked 

    • Follow the process outlined in Step 1 again, but select a different domain such as Gmail, Yahoo, or Outlook
    • If the email does not appear, please contact your network administrator to check your domain settings
    • If the new user still has not received the invitation, please contact the Accounting Team for additional support
