Thanks for reaching out. Checked with the team again about the Authentication Error you're getting and they advised the below steps if clearing cache and cookies doesn't help:
1. Attempt to login
2. User ends up on the authentication error page with the URL: mysageone.na.sageone.com/.../error-id-provider
3. If you remove /errors/error-id-provider from the end of the URL they should be able to access their account

didn't do anything for my sign in. Just repeated the error message.
Are you using Chrome? Would recommend MS Edge
For Chrome, when clearing cache and cookies, select the "all time" time range in particular, shown below:
