Upon log in I get the error " sage business vision control file is inaccessible "

I then check the psvw.log and notice the error as listed above. I cannot log into BV

This message is the result when the path to the database is not connected or the mapping has been lost.

So when you get the login screen and the company is listed look below to the working directory and note the path.

Make sure you are able to access this path through MY COMPUTER. If not please have your IT person remap to the database folder on the server. Hope this helps
