Description
When entering an order, the order quantity goes to backorder instead of committed. How to force the backorder to commit.
Resolution
In user details, set Automatic order filling to No and save the change. The backorder quantity can now be removed to force the quantity to commit.
To turn automatic order filling off:
1.Login to BusinessVision with a user ID that has access to modify user details.
2.Click Utilities, System Manager, User Details.
3.Select the user ID then click Access tab.
4.Click Order Entry then double-click Options.
5.Change Permissions for Automatic order filling to No.
6.Click Save icon or press CTRL+S to save changes.
The user will now be able to modify backorder quantity to force the quantity to commit.
