Upgrade from BV to...?

So, it's been a couple years since we have had a program update. Wondering if I should be putting my $3000 a year to something else as I am worried it wont be long before a windows update makes the program unusable, we already have issues with pervasive on our server. Has anyone considered upgrading to another Sage software? Any comments on why you might not have yet? And what is the natural next step from BV Sage 50?

I love BV, and honestly do not want to switch, but I want to get a head of possible catastrophe.

    Thanks for reaching out! Sage is fully committed to supporting Sage BusinessVision for the near future, and we will continue to provide our on-plan customers with product and tax updates. There is no need for customers to take any immediate action. However, the reduced investment in the now sunset product will increasingly lead to significant functional advantages of our core products like: Sage Accounting, Sage 50, Sage 100 ERP, Sage 300 ERP, Sage Intacct, and Sage X3.

    Regarding data migration to another Sage software product:
    The Sage BusinessVision to Sage 50 - CA Edition Data Migrator was archived back in December 2020 as this product is no longer being sold.  If you'd like, I'd be happy to set up a callback with the team, just let me know. A Sage BV specialist would be needed to assist with data migration, to chat with an agent go here, you'll be greeted by the AI Pegg and then connected to a Sage BV support rep.
