Look at Setup ... Settinngs,,,System

It is not allowing me to input anything in there.  My yearend was on May 21, 2020  I do not want to have anyone post prior to that date as everything is finalized and my G/L Starting balances are correct to our accountant.  I know there is a way to lock that date.  Do  I have to be in single user and the admin?

Yes.  And have all your windows closed.

If you have full accounting rights and are in single user mode you should be able to go to Setup, Settings, Company, System and choose the box labelled "Do not allow transactions before" select a date and click OK>
