Entering payroll into the payroll module from a journal entry

HI, I am rebuilding a year for a friend, and all she has is the print out of journal entries for the year and the bank statement.  I am doing ok for everything but the payroll

I need to input in the payroll module, but with only the journal entries I can't get any paycheque to work.  Everything works except I am stumped with what I am entering as the CPP Payable and EI Payable, as they calculate the EII Expense and CPP Expense. but can't figure out a formula that works.  I know that the CPP is half of what is the Credit when posting in the payroll module, but how do I figure out what figure I need to multiply the EII by to get the correct figure.
