New to SAGE 50C Premium, never been through the T4 process yet and I have a couple of questions:

1)  Can I process/print my T4s earlier than end of year? (reason: one company no longer has employees).  Will the software allow me to do this or does it require some kind of update in order to run T4s every year?  or will it require me to start a new calendar year right after T4s have been processed?

2) Curious on the timing of printing T4s (this would be for a second company that continues to have employees).  Do you have to make all adjustments to 2021 T4s, process and print prior to starting a new 2022 calendar year?  Or can I start my new 2022 calendar year in SAGE, so that I can process first payrun of new year, and go back to processing the 2021 T4s at a later date?  Will resetting employees figures to zero upon opening 2022 year affect my 2021 T4 YTD amounts?
