Printing old T4A

Question

Hi, 
 One of my subcontractors lost his T4A from 2018. We are now in 2020 and it seems I don't have the option to reprint it from two years ago. 
 Any ideas how to do it?

I see three options 
 
 Photocopy the company copy of the form and send it to him 
 Open your 2018 or 2019 year end file and reprint from there 
 Tell him to get a CRA My Account and obtain it from there - other T slips get uploaded so I assume his T4A will show up too

In addition to the methods that Richard has suggested, if you have online access to your own company's account with Canada Revenue Agency, you may be able to look in the payroll section under view returns, and call up the slip detail for the 2018 T4A
