One of my clients closed for Christmas from December 21 - January 7 2019/2020 - We are now uncertain whether or not to pay full time employees for the January 1 stat - this is for BC.

I would love to receive links to past discussions and any other resources. Some of the research up to now is a bit contradictory in that the closure could be classified as either an approved leave, in which case they would be paid, or an annual closure - in which case, it happens every year, everyone knows about it well ahead of time and therefore the stats that occur in that time are not paid - including December 25th.
