Piece Rate and payroll in time slips

It would appear that this issue has been ongoing for many years. Piece Rate items are an absolute necessity to some of my clients - LOA, Mileage, oncall etc... I am trying to get them to use the time slip options to save additional work at payroll time, but apparently this type of entry is not available. I see others that have been asking about this for over 7 years now. Any idea when it might happen?

As well, when doing job allocating in payroll, the piece rate items are currently being allocated the same as the hourly items but they don't always apply to the hourly rates. Most of the time, they are to be allocated to one particular job. Is it possible to design it so that we can allocate piece rate items the same way we allocate hourly items (regular, o/t, stat, piece rate...) That would make our job a lot easier.
