Changed year from 2017 to 2018 and then to 2019 by mistake - and backed up by mistake - cannot restore to earlier state

Hello,  in Simply Accounting 2007, I had advanced the fiscal year from 2017 (to 2018) and go distracted and advanced again to 2019.

Not noticing the mistake, when exiting, I backed up overtop of my 'good' backup and now cannot restore.

No transactions, no data entry has been done yet, I would restore if I could.

Is there a way to 'rollback' form 2019 to 2018?

Thank you in advance,

No.  There is no built-in facility in Sage 50 to do that.

I hope that's no longer possible to do with the latest release of Sage 50.  It just should not work that way.  We also use the automated backup to do a backup on closing the program at day end.

There may be an automatic backup, search your home directory for files ending with .CAB, or folders called Backup or Backups.  They may be somewhere in the Simply or Simply Accounting folders.

Hello, yes, I am still looking for a way to reset the 'fiscal' year without losing any data.

Cannot restore from backup as backup was overwritten two times with the wrong data.

    Thank you
