Unfortunately it doesnt fix my internet access issue. I have tried every suggestion that I have been given.

Possibly your firewall or your browser security settings may have changed and now don't recognize Sage50 as being allowed. I would look for how to allow exceptions to the firewall to start. Each firewall is different, but if you google it, you'll probably find help for your particular one.

You can also uninstall your security software and disable your firewall for testing purpose.  If all else fail,  you can try to reinstall your Sage 50.

I followed the instructions on how to allow exceptions into the firewall. Still didnt work.

I uninstalled my security software and disabled my firewall but still nothing. So I did a backup of Sage 50 but before I do that just making sure I would reinstall with the disc that I purchased then when the window comes up I would choose restore from backup right?

I know this is an old thread but I had this issue for months now and couldn't read any messages and just a few weeks ago links wouldn't open in my Outlook any more so I found a fix for that which at the same time fixed this Sage issue for me. I followed the instructions at https://www.slipstick.com/problems/this-operation-has-been-cancelled-due-to-restrictions/ in the section "Edit Registry, Part 2" and that did it. Just wanted to share it for anybody having the same issues and finding this.
