How do I reset a password?

How do I reset a password?  I forgot that I changed the password when I updated to a new version.  I have been using the new version but shut down my computer and now I entered my old password too many times and is locked out(?) I found my new password but it doesn't work now.  Help please!!

    I don't believe that Sage 50 Canadian has the ability to lock out a user.   It only refuses to open while it's running, each time you load the program is a new start.

    It's possible something went wrong with the conversion / password change, I've seen other posts here where the recommendation was to convert the old data again.  Entries into the previous conversion will be lost.

    I agree with Randy here, it does not lock you out.  If Sage 50 CA does not accept your password, 2 possible

    1. wrong password entered

    2. data file is corrupted

    If you have enter a lot of data since the conversion, then you can contact Sage 50 CA support for assistance.
