Error message in Recall Recurring Transaction

SOLVED

Hi,

I use the Recurring Transaction feature for recurring purchases (and others). However, since recently (Maybe since the last update? The version is now Release 2017.2) I get this error message when I type a letter to select a transaction (i.e. if the recurring transaction is named "Utility" I would type u. This is the message it gives:

So far this only happens when recalling transactions in the Purchases Journal window.

Can anyone point to a solution?

This is a known bug. The work-around is to use the mouse until this is fixed.

Sage has a tech bulletin on it. Sage has promised this will be fixed for the October release.

OK, good to know. I wondered as much, but wouldn't have known where to look to see if anyone knew about the bug.

"The work around is to use the mouse." Only reason I posted here is because I prefer to not use the mouse! :) Thanks anyway!

HOnestly this is a pain when you are using recurring entries all the time.  We should not have to wait till October to have this fixed.  We should also have a discount on our renewal because of this.

We are also getting error messages when opening pending sales orders and then 2 of our users simply crashes about 3 times a day.

I know. It's a pain. I have created a somewhat working third party software workaround, but it's hard to decide how much time to spend on it, to make it more reliable, if they might fix it soon.

We don't use sales orders, so I don't know anything about that. Bugs in powerful programs like this are annoying. But I guess they can be expected.
