CSV import into Sage for Payroll Processing

Hello,

We run Sage 50 Canadian Edition - does anyone import time into Sage with a CSV file for payroll processing? If so, do you have a CSV template that you use?

We are currently looking at an external, web-based program for staff to post their own hours but will need to have something set in order to import their time and pay them.

IF you are looking to import into Sage 50 Canadian, then I would suggest that you repost your message in that specific forum. This forum is for Sage Timeslips and would likely not have a lot of cross pollinating readers.

IF, however, you are interested in tracking time in Sage Timeslips and EXPORTING it into CSV so that Sage 50 Canadian can import it, then this is your place. And yes, we can export to CSV.

Thank you for the input Nancy - can you tell me how I find a specific Canadian forum to post into? Obviously in my search for community assistance I was led to this site - I did not know it was country specific.

Hi Janet,

You can see the complete listing of Support Groups available here: sagecity.na.sage.com/.../

The Sage City community is not country-specific but is organized around products, so there is a separate Support Group for Sage 50 Canada, which is located here: sagecity.na.sage.com/.../

Please let us know if you require any other assistance with using Sage City.
