Aged Inventory

SUGGESTED

Good day

I am wondering if there is a way to run a report to see all items in stock and their last sale date? Essientally I want to run a inventory report of all of our aged/obsolete inventory based on Sales Date and then be able to sort by bin location.

Is that Possible?

Thank you

In the main window select Reports, then Inventory & Services, then Statistics. There you can select to show by Location information so that you have your bins and once you get the report you could open it in excel to be able to use the Data Sort to get the order you need - whether by oldest sales date or by bin or a combo of both.

I should mention that one of my client needed such a report a few years ago and it was Richard Riding who was able to create an excel spreadsheet using the data file to also show qty on hand, date of last purchase along with qty purchased and the qty sold at last date of sale. My client paid for this but it was well worth it and an eye opener at the nbr of obsolete items listed along with the fact that some obsolete items seemingly were still being ordered because of the 'minimum balance for re-order' that was set up at the time.
