Pop Up Window after editing inventory/ service

SUGGESTED

When scrolling through purchase invoices, if the item has been modified in the inventory/ service field a pop up window appears "item has been modified since this transaction was entered". I have to click it or press enter to close it and it is pretty irritating. I cannot seem to find a way to turn off this alert, can anybody help me with this please?

    Hi

This does not seem like something that can be turned off. Inventory could be tampered with and fraud can occur. Its just a warning message alerting the user. Only option is to void / reprocess all invoices with the newly modified item or restore an older backup before the inventory item was changed (if you do not have to go back to far in time)

Yes I see your point, I can agree inventory counts should be alerted but this happens when there's a price change which I really don't need to know when I'm scrolling through invoices. But it's just a minor irritation so I will just live with it. Thanks for your input!

When I first read your message, I thought the warning was indicating a change in Item Code, not change in Price.  There is normally no warning about changes in price.  I just tested a pricing change and item code change in 2020.2 and only received the message on the item code change.

The change in item code warning is to let the user know that they may not be able to find the item code on the invoice when looking at the current inventory lists/reports.

To my knowledge, there is no way to stop the message (other than changing the item code back again - not always the best option), not even turning off Automatic Advice will turn off this message.
