Do you have a question? I don't mean to sound dumb but without a question, people reading your image will likely just suggest you order more, if you wish to sell more.
oops...I thought i asked a question. Is there a way that inventory shortage can be used on the Client Order side...trigger that instead of when it gets to point of invoice.
It used to be in the program but was removed because it was preventing users from being able to edit customer orders when there was no stock.
The best current method to determine if there is enough stock is to start entering the item code, and when you see the item you want, review the On Hand quantity showing in the drop down list.
You must have the option Setup, User Preferences, Options, Show List Buttons in Sage 50.... turned on for this to work well. Otherwise, you can enter the item code, hit Enter I believe and see a list with the Quantity On Hand.
I will try this..thanks!
is there a way that you know of when Client Order is being typed up and they order more than in stock that it will trigger their attention?
I get notification as soon as I invoice that we are out of stock? is there an option where it does not save my invoice if stock item is out?
No, I discussed this with a Sage staff member back in March. The suggestion was to load the item into an invoice to see if the inventory is in stock or to do as I suggested in my last response by reading the quantity On Hand as you type in the item before you type in the Qty Ordered.
ok thanks
