  • Hi Jane:

First of all you must have a recent version of Sage 50 on subscription. From that point you set up users; an administrator(owner) and users. They must each have an independent e-mail address. Once done the owner("sysadmin" user name) must share the data. Within the process you will need not only a Sage 50 login but a login for accessing/creating the shared data file in the cloud. Once done, your data will be in the cloud and your computer or server depending upon how your data has been setup initially I.E. independent network server or host computer. Each user of Sage 50 must have Sage 50 installed on their computer(s) in order to access the data in the cloud. Each Sage 50 user will be sent an invitation by Sage initially to access the data in the cloud. Once the directions are followed you may have access to the data in the cloud. The only provision is you must access in multi-user mode rather than single user. This is a short answer to a long question. I may have simplified some areas of my explanation. Sage is more than willing to get you setup and ready to go, however, it is a pretty straight forward process. I hope this clarifies some parts of your question.
