Hi Carol:

Look for the Sage folder on your root drive C:\. Inside this folder you should find your install files. In another location on your computer it may be located here C:\Users\Public\Documents\Sage Software\Simply Accounting\Download. If you are still having issues with finding the installation files please contact us by looking under our Sage profile.

Hi Agate, yes I have that folder, but am not sure which file to "run".  I have this:

SA_20183CP1.exe

and within the Sage 50  Accounting Installer Files - CDN Rlease 2019.0 FOLDER there is an application called:

launch.exe.

I assume prior to doing anything, I need to uninstall the current program?

Because you are using the 2019 version of the program, you need to run the SA_2019xCP1.exe installation program where x is the version of the installation program downloaded when you first installed it.

If you have any updates to the program that you installed, then you need to run those installation programs after.  For example if the first file of 2019 was actually SA_20190CP1.exe and when you check Help, About Sage 50 Pro... you see you are running 2019.2 then you likely have the file SA_20192CPUP1.exe and you should run it also, but after the one above.

Then if the original installation file (P1) is SA_20190CP1.exe , this will install 2019.0.  Therefore use SA_20191CPUP1.exe to update (PUP1) to the 2019.1 version.

If your original is SA_20191CP1.exe you will not need to install an update.
