You are mixing two terminologies that mean completely different things when I do the translation.

If you are talking about the former, you will need to upgrade the file to Premium from the Accountant Edition menu.  Be aware the file cannot be sent back to the client to use in the Pro version but you will be able to do Multi-Period reporting.

sorry for the confusion.  I have an accountant's edition that I have used to restore a client's backup.  The file then comes thru as the client's edition of Pro.  Nothing is going back to the client.

OK, just upgrade to Premium and that will give you access to the report.

Hi, Richard.  I do this upgrade with client's books from time to time for just this reason.  This morning, I did it and the 4-period comparative option does not appear.  I've tried upgrade to Premium and to Quantum with the same result.  All I have access to is the 2 period income statement.  I've closed and reopened the books.  So odd.  Any ideas?

Sorry but you appear to be mixing up concepts and reports here.  This thread is dealing with the Multi-Period Income Statement from the Reports, Financials, Multi-Period Reports menu, not the Reports, Financials, Income Statement menu.

It sounds like you are referring to the latter and therefore you should have created your own thread by posting a new topic message so people can find the information better when searching.

Are you mixing up the menus?  If not can you send me an image of the dialog and open dropdown for Report Type on the Reports, Financials, Income Statement menu?  And can you confirm at the bottom right-hand corner of the Home Screen which version the file is in?
