Converting from QuickBooks Online to Sage 50

SUGGESTED

Hello,

Has anyone been able to successfully perform a data conversion from QuickBooks Online to Sage 50? All the information I have found has been for US products or is no longer relevant to the current ones. If no one has been able to do a data conversion/upload from QBO to Sage but has migrated from one software to the other, would you be able to share the steps you followed to ensure data continuity and accuracy? I currently am part way through a new year and working on a year end, so I need to be able to access both.

Thanks in advance for the time.

    Ka A:

I would imagine if the information from QBO can be transformed into an MS-Excel spreadsheet then it is possible. You will need subledger information on clients, vendors, etc. and any outstanding transactions which make up receivables, payables, etc.. Of course your general ledger balances from which ever period you would like to start from can be entered. Accounts, vendors and clients can be imported into Sage 50 if the data is in a .csv format. For any outstanding receivables and payables this would have to done manually.

We have done this many times! Hope this helps!
