Sage 50 CA PRemium 2021 DL

Question

Have upgraded to Sage 50 CA PRemium 2021 DL from 2018, which ran perfectly until the computer melted down and I have to upgrade, did so, $, download and installation went normally but I can only run as administrator. I was able to restore one company and not another. The online chat is a total waste of time, it may have identified sharing issues as I'm path through to a dropbox account, which I've shared to everyone..... still have to run as administrator. 
 Will Sage 2021 actually run 2018 versions or do I need to spend more to get the same? 
 Do I have to change the director pathway even though it worked perfectly prior to upgrading my machine?

 This is a little out of my experience level but from what I have heard your data must be stored on your hard drive to enable use by others not in any cloud storage device. If you use Dropbox similar to a backup storage device then the data must be transferred to another computer and again returned to Dropbox after use and then to another computer for access. 
 With the 2020.2 and higher version of Sage 50 you can use Remote Data Access(RDA) formerly Sage Drive to enable other users access the company data with the Sage 50 Premium cloud/desktop version or higher. 
 If you have other 2018 Premium company versions and want to move them to 2021 Premium they will need to be converted by the 2021 package of software.
