Has anyone had any recent success in converting data when opening a new company transferring from Quickbooks Desktop version to Sage 50. The information available is over 5 years old so maybe there has been some success since.
Hi Felden,
Thanks for reaching out. Sage 50 CA still has a function to import records from a QuicBooks formatted file. Just go to File > Import/Export > Import Records.
The Import Records Wizard will open where you'll need to select the QuickBooks radio button > Next.
Then choose whether or not to create a backup > click Next and select the types of records to import.
For full steps see the KB 10560.
Here's other resources related to importing data.

Thanks I have tried this but the download of the lists from Quickbooks were not recognized so I ended up setting up a new company. Thank you for your reply
FYI Business Innovations specailizes in converting files between Sage 50 and QB and vice versa
