Our not for profit recently purchased Sage 50 Canadian Edition 2020 for Two Users. It was installed on our Administrative Assistants PC that had used the student version for many years prior and does the accounting for the Society. She sent the installation link to our Executive Director who installed it on a new Lenovo Think Pad. The installation went fine but when trying to open from the desktop icon, it goes to the This PC: Documents. There are two folders called Simply and Simply Accounting there. It does not ever take you to the main screen of Sage 50.

The program runs as an administrator and even when trying it a Windows 8 compatibility it did not run. I spent 2 hours on Friday on hold with Sage Level 2 support before hanging up! 

Any help would be appreciated. We spent a lot of money for a non profit to upgrade and for it not to work is very frustrating.
