Unable to access Sage 50 ca 2019.3

Hello,

I took over a treasurer position in May from an individual and had no problem downloading,entering the program and accessing sage drive from within.  My computer had stopped working and I put the program on a new computer.  I have installed and re-installed it but I can only get as far as the starting Sage 50 please wait screen.  Next it goes directly into looking for a file but there is nothing to choose from.  This is very frustrating as I don't know why it worked originally but not now.

    Hi  this screen the software is asking where is your data.  if you have a .cab backup from other source, you can brown to following location 

    C:\Users\Public\Documents\Simply Accounting\2020\Samdata\

    select your version of sage and pick Universal sample open sample

    once Sample is open you can 

    1. go to File, restore backup,  (to restore from .Cab file)

    2. go to View, select option "select company windows at startup" to enable the welcome screen options

    3. go File, New company to start a new file.
