For name and password, it is created for individual data file but not for the whole software. 

If you do not want to have the user name and password prompt pops up when you open an individual data file, please open that file first with user name sysdmin (default username for all simply data file) and the sysadmin password.  Then, you can go to setup, set up user.  If you have other user setup for that data file, please remove all those additional user first.  Then, with your sysadmin highlighted, please hit modify user and remove the password of sysadmin.  After that, when you open the data again, you will not see the password box.  Please do the same procedure to each data file you have user name and password setup

Just in case you are not able to recall your sysadmin password to open the data, since you are using a previous version of simply accounting that is considered obsolete, you can go to look up one of our partners from the link below for overriding password.
