Hi SmokeNSparks,

Since it looks like you are using Sage50 CA, I am going to move this post to that Support Group so that other users of this software will see it and can offer you their thoughts and insight. 

Here's an article as well with steps to try for the Error: "Cannot open company file. A required data file is missing" when opening a data file or restoring from backup.

Did an update now I get that message anyone can  help
