I have Sage 50 Canadian edition on my work computer and share it with a client remotely. I recently updated Sage on my computer and now it won’t work on my clients computer and there is no option for them to update. They get the following error message. 

any one know how to correct this. The last update really changed things.

    Your client will have to look into which license structure they have and why they have not been notified an update is available.

    You can have them check the path on their computer

    C:\Users\Public\Documents\Sage Software\Simply Accounting\Download

    to see if the update is there.  They may have the automatic download turned off.  They can check under Help, About Sage 50...., Support Info, Modify Product Update Settings if they are using one of the more recent year versions.

    Personally I never upgrade a client's file without discussing it with them if they are sharing it with me.  It can cost the client a lot of money when they are not ready for it.
