Bank reconciliation

I have deleted my bank recs with the help of Sage support. They were not supposed to wipe out all my bank recs. I told Sage I did NOT want to back up and reset anything I just wanted to restart March (was not posted) So I do not have a back up to open.

My question is :

My last posted bank rec was Feb 2022. I was told to go to start of fiscal year (nov 1 2021) and start....2nd person at Sage said to start in January. 2022. He also said if I don't match still to adjust my start and end balance. However I can't do that. ?

I just need to start again the correct way.

Help!!!

Hi Carmen,

Thanks for reaching out. Curious to know which version of Sage 50 CA the reset of the bank reconciliation was done in. The last reconciliation must be done in 2020.2 or newer in order to reverse back to the last reconciliation should you want to void current bank rec to last month. Here's more on how to reverse bank reconciliations.

Sorry just saw this.

The issue is now that sage deleted my data I can't do the bank recs, what balance before won't balance now as there is now a discrepancy and I can't pull outstanding transactions as they are deleted lol

I cant go back to oldest

"Set the Show Resolved Trans. On or After: date to the oldest outstanding transaction"
