viewing files in old back up

I am using an old version of Simply Accounting Sage 2008. I would like to view my old back up (2013-2016) without affecting the current data. Is there a way to open the back up cabinet file without changing the current data

Restore the .CAB file using a different name. The restore process always gives you an option to provide a new name for the data. You can also direct it to a different location by changing the path.
