I have sage 50 premium 2019 . I can access the sample company but i can not access my company unless i use the administrator. it wasnt a problem for me until I sent a back up copy to my accountant . She is unable to open it and gets the same message as I do if i try to open it without the admin. the message says .. unable to open databases because some databases are read only. I sent her an accountants copy and she is able to open it now but cannot update the file without the admin password. The thing is I never put a password in to begin with. Its not making any sense to me. any help would be appreciated. I cant seem to get the solution answers from sage. Is it possible when i loaded the program into a new laptop something changed or wasnt loaded?
