My automatic daily backup has never backed up for me, we use Sage 50 multi users, and the backup location ONLY is pointing to dropbox. I chose daily backup and found out i haven't backed up in months!! Any tips?
It has been my experience that I have to be in single user for Sage to back up at all. I have it set for every Friday but I must be in single user mode. I have the back up location set for my one drive.
Hi Daniella, thank you for replying to my thread. That is exactly my concern, we have to always be in multi user and still need the program to back up like SAge 100 does for example. So hoping someone from SAge 50 can answer this question if there is a work around.
I am not from Sage, however, I will let you know that Daniela did provide the accurate response. In Sage 50 Premium or Quantum, you must be in single user mode in order to run a back up. This ensures that no changes are being made to the data during the back up process. Sage 100 is a totally different program with different capabilities with no comparison to Sage 50.
