By "remote data access" do you mean logging on to a server, or a remote share, or the local machine?

oh OK, not sure about the sage drive but I do know after 2020.2 it has a lot of problems. I advise our clients not to use remote data access because it so slow.... we set them up with TeamViewer or Terminal Server

yes. even when I reboot. I basically have to 2 file names on my computer that I switch between so I can open the company and sync the files.  it happens 100% of the time even when I shut down for the night, computer off, the next morning it will have the same error. I don't particularly like have two company files saved on my computer. So if you know why this is happening that would be great.

thanks, there are only a few of us, and it has been fine for speed. And it is only me. Not my assistant that gets this error.

Open TASK MANAGER then select  PROCESSES or DETAILS and look for mysqld.exe , if you see it select it and END TASK. If mysqld is still running then for some reason Sage is not closing out properly 

I checked and it wasn't still running. But thank you for the suggestion.
