Thanks for reaching out. Do you have anti-virus installed? Here's some Sage KB resources regarding that error and steps to try:

Maybe start by checking if it's caused by Windows permissions (updates can be to blame), KB 12444 has steps in Method VII.

I tried uninstalling the antivirus but that did not help.  I also checked to see if there were any recent updates but only found Adobe update.

I will take a look at the info you sent.  Thanks for your help.

Have a look for a Windows restore point, maybe you have one available from a date prior to the issue. Here's a video explainer:
