You can use Crystal Reports to create your own custom reports and there are a few people around here that do this (including me).  The canned reports in Sage 50 are not Crystal Reports templates that can be edited with that program.  Almost all the canned reports on the Reports Menu are built into the program and cannot be edited except through the options already set up for filtering, sorting and adding/removing columns.

The only exceptions are the Sage 50 Intelligence Reports and the Microsoft Office Documents reports.  If you have the subscription for the former, these are all Excel-based reports and can be edited or new ones created. The MS Office Documents are either Word or Excel templates that are programmed through VBA or through Merge documents to produce the reports.  They can be edited, copied, etc.
