Sage 50 CA: Important information about your Sage 50 Accounting 2021.1 product update

Starting January 19, 2021, we will be releasing Sage 50 Accounting 2021.1.1. This update is addressing an issue with producing the T4’s in specific situations.

Important: After installing the update, some Premium and Quantum customers who use Remote Data Access will receive a message that another user is updating the file and is blocking your access. This is a one-time message that indicates your database is not properly connected. You might see this message once for each Premium or Quantum company file the first time it is used after you apply the 2021.1.1 update.

To resolve:

  1. Click OK on the message
  2. Exit Sage 50 CA 2021.1.1
  3. Re-open Sage 50 CA 2021.1.1 and re-select your company
