How do I add due date to Sage 50 invoice please?

SOLVED

Hi ... Until recently we used Crystal Reports like so many others on these Forums. Now that we've completed our conversion to the Sage 50 forms we don't seem able to get an invoice to print out with the payment terms and due date. We've entered all the appropriate information in the settings area and the due date prints out on quotes - no terms, but the due date is there. I'm befuddled about why the invoice won't print out with the same information.

It's crucial for customers to know when their payments to us are due as they don't get statements unless they are overdue. According to the collection agency we use, we should also be advising of our interest terms on overdue amounts up front instead of surprising them with it. If there is a line of code that I should add to the customize invoice area, I will do so if I know what it is or where to find it but it seems silly that due dates will print on quotes but not invoices.

I'd appreciate any help or advice.

Use the Terms fields at the bottom of the invoice data entry screen and it will put in a due date based on the Net Days and the invoice date.

If it is not printing on the forms, then you have probably deleted it.  It was the line of xxxxx at the bottom above the comment.  You can put it back on by using the Add a Data Field button at the top of the left side of the screen.  Select the field called Term and place it where you wish.

For the overdue interest terms, just click on the ABC button Add Text, place it where you want and type in the information you want printed.
