Transaction occurred before previous fiscal year - No it Did not!

SOLVED

I am trying to adjust a receipt that I made on July 31, 2022.  I get a message saying "The transaction cannot be adjusted because the transaction date occurred before the previous fiscal year."

Our fiscal year end is June 30th.  I KNOW I did not create this transaction before then!  This must be a software error.

Now what do I do?

    The problem here may be around the dating. What date was the receipt? you adjusted on July 31, 2022 but what was the date of the entry? Also the year end could be a part of the date concern. June 30th is your year end. when did you rollover to the 2023 year end? A third factor could be whether or not you have set the date to not allow any transactions dated prior to a set date. If it is set, what date is it and did you change this date in the last few days.

    Dates of transactions and the dates the transactions are processed are possibly different. A chronological listing of the various dates may help to determine why you are getting this message.
