We have a trucking business 

i need to allocate a percent of the truck payment. Insurance payments  to each week 

but the payment comes out and is posted once a month 

how can I do this so when I run an expense report every week that it shows up

sorry if I’m not to clear on my question

    If the payments for the truck and the insurance are the same each month it makes this process easier. If the truck payment is $1,000 per month, it would be equal to $12,000 per year or $230.77 per week. (Payment X 12 / 52 = weekly amount.) If the payment amount changes you will have to adjust the calculation for the weekly amount. Due to the way our calendar works the total insurance premium will only reconcile with your weekly allocations on an annual basis.
