Do 999 day aging report by going to:

1. Reports, Customers / Sales / Receivables, Customer Aged
2. Select Progressive from the customer list
3. Click the Detail radio button
4. Set the date to Latest Transaction Date - whatever is set in Setup, Settings, Company, Information
5. Ensure the aging range is 999 or sufficient enough

Hopefully you will find the Invoice in this report and then you can double click on the invoice.

The invoice is not on this report

Is 11/01/2018 your latest transaction date?

11/01/2018 is the date on the Sales Order / Invoice I'm searching for (today's date - Have confirmed it is Nov 1 and not Jan 11)

I'm wondering why this search says 2019:

This finish date is usually equal to the latest transaction date in Sage 50.

Please check  Setup, Settings, Company, Information to verify the latest transaction date

Run the aging report again and set the aging report date to 08/31/2019 instead

My Latest Transaction date is 11/01/2018

I re-ran the report setting the date at 11/01/2018 and then again at 08/31/2019 and neither show this invoice

Interesting. Did you change any customer names recently?

No name changes.  We don't have very many customers, either.  

The Sales order/invoice is for $447K and there is nothing on the receivable list for that value.

When I opened the Sales Order I may have forgot to change it to a Sales Invoice.

- I changed the Date to Nov. 1. 

- Added a 1 for Quantity (shipped)

The weird part is you can't modify the Sales Order and you don't have the option to "Convert to Invoice"

If you opened the Sales Order and put in a quantity shipped equal to the quantity ordered, then RECORDed the Sales Order, it will now show up as 'Cleared'.  No invoice is created, there is no way to adjust a 'cleared' sales order.

If you converted the Sales Order to an Invoice and added a quantity without adding a price, there should have been a warning that no journal entry will be created.  The invoice is created and will show in the aging report, but because there is no journal entry, there is no way to adjust that zombie invoice.

We find it's easiest / fastest to use the invoice screen, put in the Sales Order number, and hit TAB.  The Sales Order gets converted immediately into an invoice.

Thanks for your help.  I guess I just go in and create an invoice from scratch now.  If you have other suggestions, I'd love to hear them!
